Brice Long moved to Nashville permanently in 1993 after finishing college at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN. Brice landed his first paid songwriting job at Starstruck Publishing Company owned by Reba McEntire and later signed a record deal with RCA Records.
Brice had his first hit as a songwriter when Gary Allan’s “Nothing On But the Radio” reached #1 on the Billboard charts. The song won an ASCAP Award for being among the most performed country songs of 2005.
He has the current Jon Pardi single “Heartache On The Dance Floor”, as well as radio hits with Randy Houser’s “Anything Goes”, “Today” from Gary Allan, Casey James’ “Let’s Don’t Call It A Night” and Jon Pardi's, “What I Can’t Put Down”.
Brice’s most recent chart topping hit was with Randy Houser’s “Like A Cowboy”. The song was nominated for CMA - Song of the Year and earned its RIAA Gold certification for more than 500,000 sales and on-demand stream units.
Garth Brooks included Brice’s song “All-American Kid” on his comeback album Man Against Machine and delivered a memorable performance of the song on the 50th annual Academy of Country Music Awards.
Brice is currently signed to Word Music Publishing.
